Ted Stevens and Sarah Palin will not be on the ballot in Tuesday's Alaska primary, but they may loom large in voters' minds nonetheless.
In the Republican primary, Senator Lisa Murkowski faces Joe Miller, a Fairbanks lawyer. Mr. Stevens was long Ms. Murkowski's proud mentor. Ms. Palin has endorsed Mr. Miller, who styles himself a Republican reformer and is a friend of her husband, Todd.View more the latest threads:
